Cone Flip Olympics

Objective:

  • First person to complete an activity or exercise and flip the cone so it lands correctly.

Set-up:

  • Divide players into pairs.

  • Assign each pair a level Bronze, Silver or Gold.

  • Set up cones with enough space around them for players to move.

How to Play:

Each pair starts at their assigned level. The pairs in each level compete simultaneously.

Each pair performs an activity or exercise determined by their level. Examples:

  • Bronze: Jumping jacks, running in place, high knees

  • Silver: Burpees, lunges, squats

  • Gold: Push-ups, sit-ups, planks

After completing the activity, both partners attempt to flip it back to the correct way.

The first pair in each level to flip their cone wins that round.

Progression:

  1. Winning pairs in Bronze and Silver move up a level.

  2. Losing pairs in Gold and Silver move down a level.

  3. All pairs find new partners within their new level.

  4. Repeat gameplay until all levels have been played or a time limit is reached.

Additional Notes:

  • Adjust the activities and exercises based on the age and fitness level of the players.

  • Encourage teamwork and good sportsmanship.

  • Make it fun! Add music, cheering, and creative cone-flipping techniques.

Remember: The most important thing is to have fun and enjoy the friendly competition!

Variations:

  1. Divide students into relay teams with an equal number of members.

  2. Assign each team a starting line and a cone placed a certain distance away.

  3. Decide on the exercise variations for each leg of the relay.

Gameplay:

  1. Each team lines up behind their starting line.

  2. The first member of each team performs the designated exercise, then runs to their cone, flips it, and runs back to tag the next teammate.

  3. The relay continues until all team members have completed their leg.

  4. The first team to finish with all cones flipped correctly wins.
