Aliens Vs. Humans

Objective:

  • Humans to get all the alien’s eggs back to earth and place them into the extermination hoop.

Set-up:

  • Make a field that is 30x25 yards

  • 3 hula hoops

  • 2-3 noodles

  • 10+ balls (dodgeballs, soccer balls, bean bags, pinnies, etc.)

How to Play:

Start: Humans start in the on-earth territory and cross over into Alien territory to the planet Blurb to retrieve the “eggs” from the nests.

  1. Aliens defend their nests by tagging humans with the noodle

  2. If a human is tagged ‘ZAPPED,’ they must return to the earth and do an exercise (jumping jacks, squats, knee taps) before they can get back in the game

  3. Humans can only grab one egg at a time and return it to earth and place it in the hoop for extermination

  4. Humans cannot hit the balls out of the nests

  5. Aliens must stay in their territory and cannot hit any humans on the head, face, or harder than is necessary

If a human gets ZAPPED while carrying the egg, they must drop it. The alien can pick it up and take it back to their nest.

Progression:

  1. Give the humans a time limit to get all the eggs

  2. Add an extra alien depending on class size

  3. Humans can pass the egg to a teammate if they are about to get tagged. However, their partner must catch the ball to count, or they must return the egg

Additional Notes:

  • Safety First: Emphasize appropriate use of the pool noodles

  • Boundaries: Aliens cannot cross into human territory
