Shot Put
How to Play
A student stands in a hula hoop and attempts to throw a bean bag as far as they can.
If the student falls out of the hoop as they are throwing the bean bag this throw is disqualified.
Students have three attempts to throw the bean bags.
Mark with chalk the furthest thrown bean bag.
Example
Create multiple shot put stations so that 3 or more students can play at the same time.
Who ever throws the furthest bean bag wins the gold medal, second silver, third bronze.
Progression
Repeat with new students. Mark the furthest thrown bean bags.
Work with the students on good throwing techniques both under and over-arm throws.
