Left, Right, Red, Blue!

How To Play

Students stand between two cones in a single file line.

Place additional cones approximately 5 to 10 yards on either side. Each side is designated Left & Red, Right & Blue.

The instructor stands at the front of the line of students. The student all face the instructor.

The instructor shouts out either “BLUE,” “RED,” “RIGHT,” or “LEFT.”

When the instructor shouts out “LEFT,” the students have to run across the left line as fast as possible. The students then walk back to the starting point in the middle.

When the instructor shouts out “RIGHT,” the students have to run in the opposite direction across the right line as fast as possible.

Development. (Above image)

If the instructor says “CHANGE,” the students have to jump 180 degrees and change the direction they are facing. The designated lines never change. But now the students have to think more about the direction they have to go.

Instructors can shout “CHANGE” multiple times to confuse the students.

Game. (Above image)

You can play a game in which the last student over the specific line is eliminated. The last student remaining in the game is the winner.

You can also add additional words for each line to add more confusion and fun for the students.

Instructor, “CHANGE, CHANGE, ROBLOX.”
