Freeze Tag Soccer
How To Play
Create an area appropriate to the number of students.
Select several students who are ‘taggers.’ The rest of the students are the ‘runners.’ Each player has a soccer ball except for the taggers.
The taggers run after the runners and tag them. If a student is tagged, they freeze and stretch their arms out.
The runners that are free can run underneath a frozen student’s arms to free them.
Progression - Safe Station
Add spots around the area that runners can stand on to stop taggers from tagging them. The runners can stand on the stops for 3 seconds. Taggers cannot wait within 5 meters of the spots.
Progression - Throw Ball
Select a few students to carry a ball. These are the only people who can now unfreeze any students that have been tagged.
Progression - Taggers Have A Ball
To make it more difficult for the Taggers, give each one a ball they must dribble as they attempt to tag the other students.
