CDC Concussion Course

MANDATED COURSE
Every Active Education instructor will need to acquire a CDC Concussion certificate before working on a school site.

 

Create An Account

In order to obtain this, you need to create an account with the CDC. Click on the image below to see a video on how to set up an account, and access the free course.

  1. Go to https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html

  2. Click on 'coaches'

  3. Create a profile

Complete Concussion Training

Now that you have set up your own CDC account, you will be able to complete the CDC Concussion Heads Up Course.

  1. Go to https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html

  2. Log in to your CDC account (click on step 4 if you haven't already done so)

  3. Click on the pre-test

  4. You will then go through the online course

  5. Remember to take a screenshot/download of the completed course certificate

  6. Email info@activeeducation.com your completed course certificate
